The Mintel Intelligence Lounge, a collaboration between PCHi and Mintel, is presented for the first time at this year’s show providing an engaging platform where participants can understand the latest personal care and homecare market developments, with a special focus on product innovation.
The Mintel Intelligence Lounge showcases six of the world’s innovative products for delegates to touch and test at the booth, with access to full ingredient lists, pricing and all other key launch information.
The Lounge is also an ideal networking space for industry associates to mingle with Mintel analysts and discuss “What’s hot” and “What’s next” in the market.”

Design & Image - Creating Product Personality through the Visual Elements
In today’s market, design and imagery is more important than ever, especially for cosmetics and personal care products where image is everything. Through our presentation at the marketing trend seminar, we will explore:
1. What the design elements can do for a product; 2. How the ingredients used reflect in the packaging; 3. How the colour, front and materials can affect the overall tone of the product, and connect with consumers in different ways.
During this presentation we will think out-of-the-box in relation to product innovation, focusing not only on ingredient innovation, but also on how to creatively convey voice and personality through the use of different design elements to target groups of consumers.
