DJS Research Achieves Case Study For High Growth

DJS Research Ltd is proud to announce that it has been selected as a case study by Coaching for High Growth East Midlands. Coaching for High Growth helps East Midlands businesses prepare for and meet the challenges presented by high growth through one to one coaching and a series of Masterclasses on key topics. Businesses receive a year long package of support, helping to ensure maximum impact on performance, bottom line and growth prospects. Coaching for High Growth is funded by East Midlands Development Agency (EMDA)and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
Danny Sims, Managing Director of DJS Research Ltd, felt the programme had a lot to offer growing businesses:
“It’s a real honour to have been selected for the programme in the first place and the results have been absolutely fantastic. When we started, we had 11 full time staff and turned over around £1 million; a year later our number of staff has more than doubled and our turnover has increased by 50%.”
DJS Research’s High Growth coach, Mike Knusden, had the following to say:
“We initially worked on building a shared vision followed by the delegation of key initiatives throughout the team – this allowed progress to accelerate. Then it was a question of ensuring that internal systems and processes were robust and for DJS to build a recruitment pipeline to match their enviable sales pipeline.”
But despite the help afforded by the high growth programme, Mr Knusden saw much to praise within the initial company structure, adding:
“DJS has a positive ‘can-do’ culture and it has been a pleasure to work with the DJS team and see them grow as an organisation.”
In the short term DJS Research intends to continue growth in order to achieve its goal of becoming the top market research agency in the North of England. Future plans for expansion include entry into new product/service markets as well as continued expansion into already well developed sectors and developing new ‘value-added’ offerings to existing clients. The ultimate aim is to continue the rapid and positive growth the company has seen in international markets.
In closing, Danny Sims summed up DJS Research’s experience with the High Growth programme:
“Coaching has given us the confidence to achieve more than we otherwise would have done – and we intend to maintain that momentum.”
