Simpson Carpenter today announces that Rachael Fraser has joined as Director of the Retail and Consumer team. Rachael will head up Simpson Carpenter’s existing retail team and spearhead the firm’s expansion into the wider consumer market. Rachael is the second in a series of senior appointments for the company.
A highly experienced researcher, Rachael was previously Director at brand strategy and innovation consultancy Clear, where she was responsible for clients including Unilever, Reckitt Benckiser, General Mills and United Biscuits.
Prior to that, Rachael worked client-side at Cadbury Trebor Bassett where she looked after Flake and Cadbury's future-focussed well-being agenda. She worked at Synovate for four years rising to Associate Director where she led the Shell, Post Office and Moét Hennessey accounts and began her career on the Millward Brown graduate training scheme.
Tom Simpson, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Simpson Carpenter said, “Rachael brings a fresh perspective to Simpson Carpenter. While she has a strong grounding in agency research, her time in-house has given her great commercial understanding. More recently, Rachael has advised clients on brand and innovation strategy and this experience will be essential in helping us continue to grow.”
Fraser said “Simpson Carpenter has a great reputation for both quantitative and qualitative research and I am excited to join the team in delivering against ambitious plans for growth. I look forward to building on existing strengths in retail and shopper research and helping clients to maximize their investment across the complete journey from purchase to consumption.”
